WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO FORGE YOUNG MEN?

Come See the Blueprint in Action!

Each year, we host a massive open house we call Friendraiser so the public can witness how we forge the next generation.

Here's what you'll see if you join us!

  • 18 acre campus buzzing with activity.

  • Every one of our shops will be open and manned. Chat with young men, their mentors, and alumni to gauge what we offer.

  • You'll see what they're currently working on, and the breadth and quality of the equipment we supply them.

  • Grab a passport, get stamps, win prizes!

  • Take part in our Live Auction, lead by Jax, Nate & Wyatt three of our youngest participants!

  • Delicious snacks curated by the ladies that serve each session!

CHRIST | DIRECTION | CHARACTER | CAMRADERIE

At Friendraiser, we show how we forge young men through a blueprint we've developed with 14 years of experience. It starts with the surest foundation there is:

CHRIST

Before the work comes the real meal. Our mentors and young men open the Word of God together to build spiritual resilience and purpose.

Come to Friendraiser to see how this core Bible study shapes our hearts!

DIRECTION

A young man needs a target. Our mentors lead structured agendas through challenging, hands-on work.

Whether it is crafting the Wood Shop's "Checkered Cutting Board," wrenching on Automotive's "The Bus," or modeling the CAD Wind Tunnel, these assigned projects provide a tangible path forward.

Witness them at Friendraiser!"

CHARACTER

Skill without character is a liability. We forge character by expecting firm handshakes, consistent eye contact, and rewarding personal responsibility with trust. That may look like operating machinery independently, the honor of mentoring a newer student, or the right to develop personal projects.

Come see the caliber of these young men for yourself at Friendraiser.

CAMARADERIE

Deep bonds form through shared efforts and meals. When they turn the same wrenches, solve a shared design problem, or sit together for a family-style dinner, our young men internalize the importance of brotherhood.

Join our community on September 19th to experience this fellowship firsthand.

AUCTION ITEMS

Woobly Cutting Boards by Woodshop

These whimsical boards represent nearly half a year of design, testing, teamwork, crafting, and finishing. We picked three of the most distinct boards to engrave bible verses on, which we caught on video. Mentor Shawn graciously lent his time, expertise, and equipment to us to get the perfect look. Watch the video to see each board before, during, and after engraving!

Tim & Dom's Butcher Block!

With lead mentor Tim’s support, Junior Mentor Dominic designed, cut, assembled, glued, planed, sanded, and routed this huge, commercial grade butcher’s block over the last two months. It is an extraordinary piece showcasing Tim & Dominic’s skill, patience, and creativity, as well as the quality of equipment the young men have access to across all shops.
